5 slices bacon
1 med. onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
3 c. cooked or canned whole kernel corn
3 c. diced cooked potatoes
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. of sugar
Dash of pepper
Dash of Garlic powder
Note: If you want it to be real creamy you can add cream or if you are looking for a low-fat corn chowder just use skim milk.

Cook bacon in a frying pan until crispy. Place bacon on a plate with papertowels. Jen for a quicker corn chowder you can boil up your potatoes before hand. Add your milk, cream of mushroom, corn, onions(raw) in to a large pot. Add the sugar, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Jen I usually wing it....I usually do a couple little taste test...a little of this and little of that.
