1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/8 tsp. coarsely ground pepper 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Mix all ingredients in a shallow glass or plastic dish. Add 1 lb. beef, chicken or pork. Turn to coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour but no longer than 24 hours. Cook meat as desired.
