1 lb ground round, chuck or sirloin
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. chili powder
2 cans Hunts spaghetti sauce with mushrooms (or brand you prefer) I use the original
2 eggs
1 box lasagne
1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded(more if you like it really cheesy!
1 sm. carton ricotta cheese (8 oz)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Brown beef in 3 quart saucepan, Add salt, garlic, chili powder, pepper, chopped onion, and spaghetti sauce. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Meanwhile cook lasagne according to package directions; drain. (separate lasagne, layout flat on wax paper until they cool.)(pat dry) In a large bowl, beat 2 eggs, then fold in the mozarella cheese, ricotta and the parmesan cheese; set aside.
To assemble: Spray a 13x9x2 pan with pam. Pour 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce onto bottom of pan, arrange a layer of lasagna noodles on top, spoon the cheese mixture on top of the lasagne noodles (spread), then a layer of sauce on top of the cheese mixture, continue to layer until you have about 2 layers of noodles. Top the last layer with
mozarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
