3 lbs apples, pared and sliced
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 Tbsp orange rind, grated
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon, heaping
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
3/4 cup flour, sifted

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in 9x9 inch buttered pan. Pour orange juice over them. Mix together all dry ingredients and cut in butter. Spread over apple mixture and bake 1 hr at 350 degree. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
