2 tbsp. shortening
1 chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. hamburger
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (17 oz.) can of peas or corn
3 medium size potatoes, diced, cooked and drained

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and cook onion and hamburger in shortening, stirring to separate beef into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Drain peas; save 1/2 c. liquid. Add peas, liquid, and potatoes. Heat over low heat until the vegetables are hot.
