1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
3 c. sliced rhubarb
1 c. brown sugar
Topping:
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk or 1/2 and 1/2 or whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Blend first 9 ingredients and pour in 9x13 in. pan. Sprinkle
brown sugar over cake before baking at 350 for 45 min.
Topping: Mix all ingredients in saucepan and boil for 2 min. Cool cake. Pour topping over entire cake or spoon topping over each individual piece.
