1 onion, chopped
1/2 lb margarine
2 cans beef consomme
1 C water
2 C long grain rice
2 cans mushrooms (or fresh)
oregano
basil, optnal
slivered almonds, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in margarine, add 1 can consomme and water. Add rice, mushrooms, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer 20 min. Add 1 can consomme and put in 400F oven (lower after a few min. to 350F) for 40 min.
