3 cups brown sugar
3 cups margarine, softened
3 cups flour
6 cups oatmeal
1 T. baking soda
Raisins and/or nuts may be added

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat to 350

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Form into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 9-12 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool for a short time before removing from pan.
Finish cooling on a rack or brown paper to absorb margarine.
