1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
4 large eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. buttermilk
4 medium apples, grated
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter; add beaten eggs, then add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Add apples and nuts. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Makes 2 large loaves.
