1 c. brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 c) butter
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg, plus extra for garnish
1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. apple cider
2 c. water
2 c rum
Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large sauce pan, combine the brown sugar, butter salt, nutmeg cardamom, cinnamon, apple cider and water. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the rum. Ladle the drink into mugs, the top with whipped cream and a pinch of nutmeg.
