1 small onion
1/2 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef
1/2 C seasoned bread crumbs
1 T onion, diced
2 T butter
2 T flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 C milk
1 C water

Directions:
Directions:
Grate 2 teaspoons lemon peel. In large bowl, mix lemon peel, meat, bread crumbs, onions and 1/2 tsp salt. Shape into 1-inch balls. In 12-inch skillet, over medium heat, brown meatballs in butter on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside. Pour off all but 2 T drippings from skillet. Stir in flour, over medium heat, add pepper and 2 tsp salt. Gradually add milk and water. Cook until slightly thickened. Return meatballs to skillet and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes
