1-1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/3-1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce, divided
1 egg, slightly beaten
2/3-1 cup Progresso bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Mix all ingredients, using 1/2 the can of tomato sauce and reserving the rest. Use your hands to mix thoroughly. Place in a loaf pan or dish (4X8 or so) and press down evenly. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Pour off grease that has accumulated. Pour the rest of the tomato sauce on top of meatloaf and return to oven for another 30 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

I have given a range of quantities for beef, onion and bread crumbs. Use the amounts you prefer or have on hand. You may use clean rubber gloves or plastic bags on your hands when you mix the ingredients.
