5 or 6 large tart apples, peeled and sliced
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 T. brown sugar
3 c. plain flour
2 c. white sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
juice of 1 large orange
chopped toasted pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325
Mix sliced apples with the cinnamon and brown sugar. Set aside.
Mix white sugar, eggs, and orange juice. Add flour and baking powder to this mixture. Mix well. Then add oil, again mixing well.
Pour 1/2 batter into a tube or bundt pan. Place 1/2 apple mixture on batter and sprinkle with 1/2 of the toasted pecans. Pour rest of batter into pan, placing the rest of the apples and pecans on top.
Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
