2 lbs of stew meat
1 large yellow onion sliced
1 clove of garlic minced
1/2 cup of catsup or tomato sauce
2 Tbsp of Worcestershire
1 Tbsp of brown sugar
2 tsp of salt
2 tsp of paprika
1/2 tsp of dry mustard
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients except flour and water to crock pot on low. Cook for 6 hours. Mix water and flour, pour in crock pot and cook an additional hour.

To do in Dutch oven, brown meat and onions. Add remaining ingredients including water and flour mixture and simmer covered on low on top of stove for 3 o 4 hours.

Sue is a stew lover, my whole family is, particularly like dumplings rather than potatoes in our stew. This is also very good on brown rice. Serves 8.
