1 lb. black beans (2 cups) sorted, rinsed, soaked and ready to cook
1 medium onion, chopped
2 large cloves garlic, minced OR 1 rounded tsp. dehydrated garlic
1 bay leaf
1 t. cumin

Directions:
Directions:
Cook together until beans are tender. Then add 1 T. chicken stock and salt to taste. If desired you may cook with a diced jalapeņo or serrano pepper. Serve with fresh Pico de Gallo (recipe provided separately) and diced avocado.
