1/3 c. tahini (sesame paste) 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice 1 T. olive oil 2 T. water 2-4 cloves garlic (I usually use 2) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. black pepper 20-oz. can garbanzo beans, drained
Place all ingredients into blender. Puree until smooth. Serve with pita bread and cucumber slices or on whole wheat crackers.
