1 pkg. (18 1/2 ounces) German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. (14 ounces) caramels
1/2 cup margarine
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 to 2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a (13 x 9 inch) pan.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes. Cool. Maintain oven temperature.

In a microwave or in a saucepan on top of the stove, melt caramels, margarine and condensed milk, stirring until thick and creamy. Pour over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips then nuts. Bake 25 minutes
