1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. ice water
1/2 c. powdered non-dairy cream or powdered milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
6 c. peeled apples, 1/2 in. slices
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt together; cut in shortening. Add cheese; mix well. Sprinkle in ice water; form into a ball. Roll out; press on 15 in. pizza pan and press up edges for a rim.
Combine powdered cream or milk, brown and white sugars, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together; sprinkle 1/2 of mixture on crust. Arrange apple slices in circles to cover crust; sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut butter into remaining mixture and cover apples. Bake in 450 oven until apples are tender. Serve warm, plain or with ice cream.
