1 c. sugar 1c. white karo syrup 1c. raw peanuts pinch of salt 1 tsp. soda 1/4 c. butter
Combine first 4 ingredients in large pan. Cook on high stirring constantly for about 9 minutes until light beige color. Remove from heat and pour in vanilla. Stir briskly; add soda stir again. It will bubble and rise. Immediately put in Teflon or greased cookie sheet. Cool then crack.
