2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
ICING:
1 stick oleo
4 tbsp. cocoa
8 tbsp. milk
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour and salt. Set aside. In a saucepan, simmer water, cocoa and butter. Add the soda to the buttermilk. Pour the simmered mixture over the dry ingredients, and add the buttermilk and then the eggs. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. For icing, mix and simmer the oleo, cocoa and milk. Add powdered sugar until right consistency.
