Filling:
2 lbs. cooking apples
1 T. lemon juice
2 T. flour
3.4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash salt

Topping:
2.3 c. flour
1/3 c. light brown sugar
1/3 c. margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Filling:
Core apples, pare and slice thinly. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Mix and toss lightly with apples. Put in unbaked pie shell.

Topping:
Combine flour and sugar; cut in butter to make like cornmeal. Cover the pie and bake at 400 for 15 minutes and then 350 for 30-40 minutes.
