1 ham bone
8 c. water
1 pkg. green peas
1 c. grated raw carrot
1 large onion, chopped
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chopped celery

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ham bone with water, peas, carrot, onion and seasoning in a large pot; cover. Simmer 2 1/2 hours. Remove ham bone; strip off any bits of meat and add to soup with celery. Simmer 15 minutes longer or until celery is tender.
