1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten 1 c. milk 1 T. oil 4 large onions
Beat egg and add milk and oil. Stir in remaining ingredients and beat til smooth. Slice onions into slices and separate into rings. In electric skillet add oil to 1 1/2 to 2 inches deep. Dip a few onion rings at a time into batter. Place in heated fat turning once. Drain. Serve immediately.
