2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 1 T. butter 1/3 c. boiling water 1 c. sugar 2 T. corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla
Melt in double boiler chocolate and butter. Stir and add boiling water and mix well. Add sugar and corn syrup; boil but do not stir. If you would like ordinary sauce boil for 5 minutes, if you want hard sauce that will thicken over ice cream boil 8 minutes. Just before serving add vanilla.
