1 c. margarine, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts - optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat margarine, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir together flour, soda, and salt and gradually add to first mixture. Beat well. Stir in chips and nuts. Bake 8 - 10 minutes in 375 oven.
