1 1/2 Quart of stewed tomatoes 1 pound navy beans 1 cup brown sugar 3 strips of bacon 1/2 cup of chopped onion
Soak beans overnight. Drain. Add beans to 6 cups of cool water and simmer for two hours. Mix tomatoes, brown sugar, onion and ground chuck together in a slow cooker. Add salt and pepper to tast. Slowly mix in beans ( so they do not mush). after everything is mixed together, cup up bacon into pieces and lay on top of mixture. Cook on low in slow cooker for 3 hours
