1/4 lb margarine or butter
1/4 lb butter crisco
3/4 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
11/2 eggs
1 T vanilla
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3 c flour
12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325
Mix flour, salt and baking soda in sm bowl and set aside.
In lg bowl, beat margarine, crisco together til blended. Add sugars and beat til fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. Stir in flour mixture til well blended and add chips. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake 10-15 minutes til brown.

I usually divide the dough and add different ingredients (coconut, nuts and other chips like milk or butterscotch) or M & Ms for Sara. I roll each in a log, wrap it in plastic wrap then place in a zip loc bag and freeze. When we want warm cookies I take some out slice and bake them then.
