1/2 c shortening or margarine
3/4 c peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
11/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 bag Hershey kisses, unwrapped

Directions:

Heat oven to 375
In lg bowl, beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended. Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Beat well.
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. gradually add to dough. Shape in 1" balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 10 min til lightly browned. Immediately place 1 kiss on top of each cookie and press down til cookie cracks around edges. Bake another 2 minutes and remove from cookie sheet to cool
