2 lb. bag frozen hash browns, thawed
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together hash browns and butter.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Put into a casserole dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Additional shredded cheddar may be sprinkled on the top of the casserole before heating.
