1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large egg
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried sage
1/4 tsp. salt
1 - 10 oz. package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained, squeezed dry
1/2 c. grated mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ground beef, egg, onion, garlic, pepper, sage and salt. Use two thirds of meat mixture to line bottom and sides of 9 x 5 3 in. loaf pan. Spread half of spinach over meat in pan. Press down to pack slightly. Sprinkle cheese over spinach and top with remaining spinach. Pack the rest of meat mixture on top to form loaf, sealing edges well. Bake 1 hr. at 350.
