1 large can of kidney beans
1 lb cooked ground beef or turkey
1 onion chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/3 cup water
1 pint of tomatoes
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp salt

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and simmer for 1 hour minimum, up to a few hours. Check to see if it may need more water or tomato juice may be added.

This is a great recipe to put in the crock pot on low and let it simmer all day. Chili is yummy with a dollop of sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese on top. Sprinkle a few sliced black olives on top to make it even better!
