4-5 qts. popped corn 1 1/2 c. peanuts 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 c. tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Place popped corn and peanuts in a large grocery bag. Set aside. Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt in a 2 quart glass bowl. Cook on high 2 more minutes. Stir in soda. Pour syrup mixture over popped corn in bag. Close bag and shake well. Cook popcorn in bag on full power for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake bag well. Cook popcorn 1 1/2 minutes more on full power. Shake bag. Cool and stir to separate kernels
