3/4 cup brown sugar
5 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked Pastry shell
whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in milk slowly. Cook over boiling water until thickened, stirring constantly. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Add mixture to egg yolks, stirring vigorously; cook 1 minute longer. Add butter & vanilla. Cool. Place filling in pastry shell and cover with whipped cream.
