5 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. soda 4 tsp. baking powder 1 c. shortening 2 T. sugar 1 pkg. yeast 2 T. warm water 2 cups buttermilk
Mix yeast and warm water together until blended. Cut shortening in dry ingredients til the size of a pea. Mix rest of ingredients together and refrigerate. Bake at 450º for 10-12 minutes. Can be refrigerated up to one week, take out as desired.
