2 c. unsweetened frozen raspberries
1 cooking apple; peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Pinch of salt
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Low calorie pancake syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Bring raspberries, apple, sugar, lemon juice and pinch of salt to boil; reduce heat and simmer about 20 min. Combine water and cornstarch and add to fruit mixture. Cook until thickened to desired consistency.
Variations: Use strawberries, blueberries, cherries, peaches, apricots, crushed pineapple. Canned, fresh or frozen fruit may be used.
