1 box devil's food cake mix
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup milk
20 large marshmallows
1 small can coconut flakes
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Frosting:

2 cups granulated sugar
1 can Pet milk
1 stick butter
2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare the cake mix as per the mix directions; bake the cake in a loaf pan.
Allow the cake to cool; cut length-wise to make 3 layers.
Combine the sugar and milk. In a saucepan, bring this to a full boil; reduce the heat to medium; cook until the mixture forms a soft ball (when dropped into a cup of cold water)
Remove the saucepan from the heat; add the marshmallows, coconut, & almond extract.
Spread this mixture on top of two of the cake layers.
Assemble the 2 covered layers; top with the third cake layer.

Frosting:
Combine the sugar, pet milk, butter and chocolate.
Place this in a saucepan; bring it to a boil; reduce the heat to medium; cook for 4 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat; stir it until the frosting begins to thicken. Spread it over the cake layers.
