5-pounds potatoes, cooked and mashed coarse
Chicken broth
1 carrot, chopped
1 onion, diced
2 stalks celery
Bacon bits, to taste
1 tablespoon bacon grease, optional
1/2 stick butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 - 2 cups milk or evaporated milk, to proper consistency
Lawry's seasoned salt
Salt and pepper, to taste

Boil vegetables until tender, about 1 hour. May use chicken broth and water. Mash potatoes. Add bacon bits, bacon grease, butter, soups, seasoning and milk. Simmer.
