6 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. cold butter

Filling:

8 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. corn syrup
1 1/2 butter, melted
3 tsp. vanilla
5 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of two greased 10" x 15" pans. Bake at 350 for 18-22 minutes or until crust edges are beginning to brown.

Filling"

Combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla in a large bowl; mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. or until edges are firm and center is almost set. Cool on wire racks. Cut into bars. Refigerate until serving. This recipe can easily be halved.
