1 16-oz. cherry pie filling (can use apple filling, but
chop the apples)
1 16-oz. can crushed pineapple (can use peaches)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/4 stick butter or margarine
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a greased 13 X 9 glass baking dish, spread the cherry pie filling on the bottom. Spread the crushed pineapple (juice included) on top of the cherry pie filling. Pour the dry cake mix on top of the pineapple. Pour melted butter/margarine on top of the dry cake mix. Spread coconut on top of butter. Top with chopped walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40-42 minutes. Serve hot with ice cream or cool whip.
