French Toast Recipe

1 loaf of French bread
5 large eggs, beaten
3/4 cups of milk
1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
1 16-oz pkg frozen strawberries
1 pkg frozen blueberries
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut bread into 13 one inch slices. Place bread slices in a large bowl. Beat eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Pour over bread mixture. Press bread to absorb mixture. Cover and chill 8-10 hours.

Stir together strawberries, blueberries and sugar. Pour in a 13 x 9 inch greased baking dish. Arrange soaked bread slices over fruit mixture and pour any remaining egg mixture over bread. Sprinkle bread with cinnamon sugar. Place dish on a baking sheet.

Bake at 450 for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

This is Dana Jolly's recipe and it one of my absolute favorites! However, the sugar added to the fruit can be cut in half. Can also make this with splenda.
