2 cups 100% bran cereal. 4 cups All bran cereal. 1 tsp salt. 2 cups boiling water. 4 cups Buttermilk. 3 cups sugar. 1 cup softened butter. 4 eggs. 5 cups flour. 5 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Combine cereals and salt. Stir in water, then buttermilk. Cool to lukewarm. In a mixing bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, beating well after each addition. Stir in bran mixture. In seperate bowl combine flour and baking soda. Add to bran mixture, stir just enough to dampen. Pour into greased muffin tins. Fill about 2/3rds full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or untill done. Remove from tins immediately. Finish cooling on wire rack.
