1/2 cup shortening. 3 cups sugar. 6 beaten eggs. 3 tsp baking soda. 4-5 mashed bananas. 3/4 cup sour milk (add 1 tsp lemon juice to milk to make sour) 5 cups flour. 1 cup nuts optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugar, and eggs. Disslove the baking soda in the sour milk. Add that to the mashed bananas and then add them to the sugar mixture. Stir in the flour and nuts if desired. Divide into 4 greased bread pans. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
