Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef. 1 tsp salt. 1/4 teaspoon pepper. 1/4 cup chopped onion. 1/2 cup uncooked slow coking rice (not minute rice) 2 cans tomato soup. 1 cup water.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 5 ingredients together and form into meatballs. combine the tomato soup and water, add the meatballs and cook about an hour. Make sure the meatballs are covered with mixture or if not turn them occasionally. I usually cook them longer than an hour cause I like the tomato soup mixture to thicken from the starch in the rice. Serve over mashed potatoes..

this was a recipe Mom (Carol Hannema) made a lot when I was growing up. Not sure if she made it up or if it was handed down.
