1 Tbs. SAF yeast
1 1/2c warm water
3 Tbs. sugar
1 Tbs. salt
4 c. flour (approximately)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients to make a firm dough. Knead for 5- 10 minutes until it's a smooth ball. Let rise for 5 minutes. Divide and shpe into 12 bagels. Let rise for 15 minutes. Drop into bioling water and turn for about 10-15 seconds. Bake at 475 on a greased cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes or until brown.
Variations:
Cinnamon Raisin- Increase sugar to 5 Tbs. and add 1 cup of raisins and 1 1/2 Tbs of cinnamon.
Onion- Substitute regular salt for onion salt. Saute 1 finely shopped onion in 1 Tbs. of butter. Add onion to dough mix well.
