1 small head of cabbage
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Trim soiled leaves of cabbage and remove core. Cover with boiling water and let stand 5 mins until cabbage is limp. Separate leaves, reserving 5 of the largest leaves for the rolls. Combine meat with onion, egg, milk, and salt. Divide meat mixture among the 5 cabbage leaves and fold envelope style. Fasten with a toothpick. Lay flap down in a saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover rolls with the rest of the cabbage leaves. Simmer, covered for 1 hour. Serve with tomato sauce.
