11/2 c butter, room temp.
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
21/3 c sugar
6 eggs, room temp.
3 c flour
1 tsp vanilla

Heat oven to 300
In lg mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese.
Gradually add sugar, beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Gradually add flour and beat just until blended.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured 10 ' tube pan.
Bake 11/2 hours or until cake is done.
Cool in pan 15 minutes then remove and allow to cool completely.
