Leftover beef stew (see recipe) 1 can tomatoes 1/4 cup cornstarch
Use leftover beef stew. Remove most of cold grease from top of stew. Put the stew in a pot and heat to a boil. Add a can of tomatoes crushed. Boil for 10-15 minutes. In a bowl, add cornstarch and water until cornstarch is a white liquid. Add gradually to stew to get desired thickness.
A favorite of my husband, Valmore Speir, that passed away the fall of 2003.
