Ingredients:  
1/3 c butter
4 c sliced pared apples
c warm water
1 tsp cinnamon
tsp salt
1 c sugar
c flour
1/3 c soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Soften 1/3c butter and spread evenly in square 8x8 pan. Add 4 c sliced pared apples. Sprinkle with mixture of (1/4 c warm water, 1 tsp cinnamon, tsp salt). Mix until crumply 1 cup sugar, c flour, 1/3 c soft butter spread crumb cake mixture over apples. Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes and serve warm.
