2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. flour
4 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp.salt

Directions:
Directions:
Scald 1 1/2 cups milk over medium heat. Combine sugar, flour, salt, and cornstarch. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk and egg yolks. Stir this mixture into hot milk and cook until thickened. remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Let cool and pour into baked pie shell.
