Preheat oven to 275º. Wash, halve, and core ripened pears. Use as many pear halves as you wish to serve. Coat inside and outside lightly with olive oil. Place pear halves on baking pan. Fill each half with two tablespoons crumbled cheese. Sprinkle lightly with thyme, add a tablespoon of chopped walnuts. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
